MagMod Starter Flash Kit v2

The MagMod Starter Flash Kit 2 includes three core components of the MagMod modular lighting system: the MagGrip 2 adapter, MagGrid 2 honeycomb grid, and MagSphere 2 diffuser. With this trio, photographers can quickly shift between diffusion and directional control for on‑camera or off‑camera flash setups.

What’s Included

• MagGrip 2 Adapter: A silicone rubber band that securely stretches over round‑ or standard‑head speedlights. Embedded rare‑earth magnets provide a stable mount for magnetic modifiers. This version features a compact, oval design optimized for round‑head flashes while retaining nearly full elasticity over time.
• MagGrid 2 Honeycomb Grid: Concentrates flash output into a controlled 40° beam, reducing light spill and creating contrast. Multiple units can be stacked or combined with the MagSphere for layered lighting effects. Built from flexible silicone to resist chips or cracks.
• MagSphere 2 Diffuser: Transforms flash into a soft omni‑directional light source. This version is 40% lighter than the original and increases surface-area output by over 250%, delivering gentle, flattering illumination. Also stackable with other modifiers.

Key Features & Benefits

• Modular magnetic system allows nearly instantaneous attachment and swapping of modifiers.
• Compatible with the most common speedlight models from major manufacturers thanks to the versatile MagGrip 2.
• Durable silicone construction ensures long-term use without loss of elasticity.
• Lightweight and compact, ideal for location or event shooting.
